I think it’s fair to say that the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival was a huge success.  Feedback from visitors over the weekend was more than positive and they really enjoyed the overall gastronomic experience. 

In relation to the ‘Masterchef’ competition, sponsored by Enviroclad System Ltd. I am delighted to congratulate Alex Robertson, (Below, centre) who beat off some very stiff competition from Jennifer Ray to be crowned winner. 

This is an accolade which I’m sure Alex will hold dearly, as it was judged by some very well know national and local chefs including Catherine Fulvio, (Below, right) from Ballyknocken Cookery School and Anne Neary, (Below, left) from Ryeland House Cookery.

Again, I would like to say how thrilled we were to be part of the festival and look forward to the continued success and growth of the festival in years to come!!
